About Elvento Labs
Elvento Labs Private Limited is the company that builds and operates Ghost, a service for sending SMS without revealing your phone number. It runs in any browser and as an Android app, and it is our flagship product.
We are based in Ghaziabad, India. This page covers what we build, how we run it, who writes our guides, and how to reach us.
Our Mission
To empower individuals with tools that protect their privacy in an increasingly connected world. We believe everyone deserves the ability to communicate freely and securely, without compromising their personal information.
What We Build
Ghost does one job: it lets you text someone without handing over your phone number. It is SMS only, with no calls or voicemail.
Number masking
Messages are forwarded from Ghost servers, so the recipient sees a protected sender ID instead of your real phone number.
How number masking works →Delivery, scheduling and reply links
Ghost delivers SMS to 100+ countries, lets you schedule a message for later, and can include a reply link so the recipient can answer without ever getting your number.
See every feature →Pay-as-you-go credits
There is no subscription. You buy credits, starting at $1, and they never expire. You pay for the messages you send, plus any Reply Links you add, and nothing else.

The commitments behind the product, in plain terms.
Credits are our only revenue
Ghost has no advertising business. We do not sell, rent or license your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
We keep as little as we can
To run the service we keep the destination number, the text you sent, timestamps, delivery status, your credit balance and a device identifier. Your sent messages appear in your message history, and you can delete them there.
We are clear about the limits
Ghost hides who sent a message. It does not encrypt what the message says: standard SMS is not end-to-end encrypted, and we say so wherever it matters.
Privacy is not a cover for abuse
Threatening, harassing or fraudulent messages lead to account termination, and we respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement.
Our Values
The principles that guide everything we do at Elvento Labs.
Privacy First
We believe privacy is a fundamental right. Every feature we build prioritizes user privacy and data protection.
Simplicity
Technology should be accessible to everyone. We create intuitive solutions that anyone can use without complexity.
Reliability
When you send a message, you need it delivered. We invest heavily in infrastructure to ensure consistent performance.
User Trust
Trust is earned. We maintain transparent practices and never compromise on our commitment to user security.
The Ghost Story
Ghost was born from a simple observation: people often need to communicate while protecting their privacy. Whether it's providing honest feedback to a colleague, conducting safe online transactions, or maintaining professional boundaries.
We noticed that existing solutions were either complicated, unreliable, or compromised user privacy in some way. So we set out to build something better — an app that's simple to use, completely reliable, and truly respects your privacy.
Today, Ghost serves users who value their privacy and want a straightforward way to send secure private messages. We continue to improve the app based on user feedback and our commitment to excellence.
Editorial Team
The Elvento Labs Editorial Team writes Ghost's privacy guides, SMS security explainers, and app comparison articles. Our content covers number masking, marketplace safety, legal compliance, and digital privacy for everyday users and professionals.
Articles touching legal or security topics are reviewed for accuracy before publication. We prioritize practical, citation-friendly guidance over generic marketing copy.
